Application Fee:
To complete the India Post GDS Application Form 2025, candidates must pay an application fee online using Credit/Debit cards or Net Banking.
- General Category: ₹100/-
- Other Categories: Exempted (No fee required)
Candidates eligible for a fee exemption can apply directly without any payment.
Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit & Selection Process
Eligibility Criteria:
✔ Basic Computer Knowledge – Mandatory for all applicants.
✔ Cycling Skills – Essential for all candidates.
✔ Adequate Means of Livelihood – Must meet government norms.
Age Limit (as of 3rd March 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years

Selection Process:
Merit-Based Shortlisting
Candidates will be shortlisted based on a system-generated merit list derived from Class 10th marks (calculated up to four decimal places).
Grade Conversion
If marks are given as grades, they will be converted using a multiplying factor of 9.5 (e.g., A1 = 95 marks, A2 = 85.5 marks, etc.).
Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates must verify their documents with the Divisional Head.
