About the Scholarship
The Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship supports SC and Neo-Buddhist students in Maharashtra by covering tuition fees, exam fees, and maintenance allowances.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must belong to SC or Neo-Buddhist category
- Annual family income should be ₹2,50,000 or less
- Must be a resident of Maharashtra
- Passed SSC/equivalent examination
Required Documents
- Income Certificate issued by Tahesildar
- Caste Certificate
- Mark sheet of the last appeared examination
- SSC/HSC Mark sheet
- Father’s Death Certificate (if applicable)
- Gap Certificate (if applicable)
Benefits & Allowances
Maintenance Allowance:
- Day Scholars: ₹230 – ₹550 per month
- Hostellers: ₹380 – ₹1200 per month
Disability Support:
- Transport Allowance: ₹100
- Escort Allowance: ₹100
- Special Pay for Hostel Staff: ₹100
